Companion Tandems Family Event
We had an amazing time at our recent Companion Tandems event! It was all about getting outdoors, riding together, and enjoying great company. Our families teamed up on tandem bikes for a day full of fun, laughter, and connection.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special day – we’re already looking forward to the next one!

‘Believe’ Nominated for Two Film Awards!
We are thrilled to share that Believe, a film created by the Down Syndrome Kerry Film Group, has been nominated for not one but two awards in the Fresh Film Awards!
The awards ceremony took place on April 10th in Dublin, marking a proud moment for our community during World Down Syndrome Week celebrations here in the Kingdom of Kerry.
A special congratulations to Ellen, Patrick, and Oisín who represented the group in Dublin.
Well done to everyone involved, and congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.

Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day
What a fantastic celebration we had at the Down Syndrome Kerry 321 Shop for World Down Syndrome Day! The event was filled with joy, dancing, laughter, and lots of colour as we proudly showcased our vibrant socks, shared personal stories, and enjoyed great company.
We were joined by members of An Garda Síochána Kerry, who stood in solidarity with us and helped mark the occasion in a truly special way. Highlights of the day included live music, the reveal of a beautiful mural, fun guessing games, and plenty of tea and coffee to keep the energy going!
